The OTA advised me there will be $200 penalty plus service fee, which I agreed. Then after I agreed along with my previous $800 flight charge they charged me a brand new invoice $225 to my credit card. Later, the emirates airlines refund me to my bank card with $600 (which I assume the $200 penalty went to them). However, in total I paid $425 penalty for the cancelled flight. But, after I asked them to ship me any policy or legislation stating cost for $200 non-refundable tax they couldn’t give me any reason or documentation for it.
